Everyone loves free clothes, right? Introducing FREE FRIDAYS! • E5 and below (and their sponsored family members) can receive 10 free clothing items/shoes every quarter (quarters listed below). • E6 and above (and their sponsored family members) can receive 5 free clothing items/shoes every quarter. Quarters are as follows: January, February, March | April, May, June July, August, September | October, November, December Excluded items: items with red tags, shoes $5.01 and above Limit: 2 shoes per family. MCSC took over operations of the FICA Thrift Store in October 2007 and supports the
Fort Irwin community through the MCSC welfare and scholarship campaigns.
SHOP
Open to the public • I.D. card required only for purchase of military items
Store Hours:
Tuesday and Friday • 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
VOLUNTEER
Anyone over the age of 18 can volunteer.
Volunteer Hours:
Monday - Friday • 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
BONUS: Earn $2 store credit for every hour you work, and get first dibs on merchandise!
DONATE
Donations of household items, furniture, clothing, etc. are always welcome.
You can drop items off in the marked bin at the rear of the Thrift Store anytime.
For bulkier items, or items with high value and/or electronics, please try to drop off during the Volunteer Hours.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Bed mattresses/box springs • electronics/toys that are broken or fail to do all the features they should do
torn/stained/faded clothes/shoes/linens • used undergarments/socks
infant car seats • any toys, walkers, highchairs, etc. that have been recalled from the manufacturer
